Our Medical Department consists of two well-versed Principal Investigators and two Junior Investigators, which have both joined the company already during their medical studies and were promoted to Junior Investigators after completing their degree.
Ingo Meyer, MD, PhD
Medical Director
Dr. Ingo Meyer is Medical Director at Momentum Pharma Services GmbH since January 2007 and held this position since April 2006, when the company was still known as MDS Pharma Services Germany GmbH. He studied human medicine at the University of Freiburg (Germany) and started his career at the Children's Surgery of the Municipal Hospital of Karlsruhe. Later he worked as Medical assistant at the Swiss Institute for Tropical Diseases in Switzerland and at the Paediatrics Department of Huddersfield Royal Infirmary in England. From 1996-2006 he gained experience in the CRO industry as Investigator & Head of a Phase-I clinic in Freiburg of a well-known global CRO.
Werner Weber, MD
Senior Medical Advisor, Recruitment Manager
Werner Weber was born in Pullach, Germany. He studied Medicine at the University of Ulm and has 24 years experience in clinical trials, having performed more than 500 studies of various types. Before joining Momentum Pharma Services in October 2007, he served as Medical Director at PHAROS GmbH in Ulm. Starting his career in CRO business at LAB GmbH in Neu-Ulm, he held a series of leadership roles within clinical research, culminating as Senior Study Director at PAREXEL GmbH, Berlin, Director of Clinical Research at BIOPHARM GmbH, Berlin, and Principal Investigator at MDS Pharma Services, Hamburg.
Sandra Zivotic, MD

Sandra Zivotic was born in Hamburg, Germany. She studied Medicine at the University of Hamburg and has five years experience in clinical trials. Before joining the company in June 2002 (then still known as MDS Pharma Services) first as Clinical Conduct Associate, then as Investigator, she gained clinical experience as a Senior Medical Student in the fields of Internal Medicine, Surgery and Forensic Medicine in Hamburg and Belgrad.

Arne Thies, MD

Arne Thies was born in Düsseldorf, Germany. He studied Medicine at the University of Dresden and Hannover. Before joining the company in February 2010, he gained clinical experience as a Senior Medical Student in the fields of Pediatrics, Internal Medicine and Surgery in Hannover, Hildesheim and Detmold.
Julia Doulgere, MD
Investigator, Medical Network Manager
Julia Doulgere was born in Hamburg, Germany. She studied Medicine at the University of Hamburg and has four years experience in clinical trials. Before joining the company in December 2002 (then still known as MDS Pharma Services) first as Clinical Conduct Associate, then as Investigator, she gained clinical experience as a Senior Medical Student in the fields of Anesthesia, Internal Medicine and Surgery in Hamburg and Thessaloniki. In August 2009 she assumed the responsibility for the coordination and development of the Medical Network at Momentum Pharma Services.
